Stewardship
"“The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it.”"
(Psalm 24:1)
The Stewardship Campaign for 2024 is now under way. Read a letter from our Senior Warden about the ministries and support needed to continue those activities. You can download a "pledge form" and mail it or scan and email it to the church (Email: admin.st.lukes@verizon.net), OR pledge online.
Broadly speaking, stewardship is the care and nurture of the gifts God has given us, to further God's Kingdom. It includes all of our blessings of time, talents, and treasure. The committees involved in caring for and nurturing the gifts God has given St. Luke's include (but is not limited to) the Communications & Technology Committee, the Finance Committee, the Property and Grounds Committee, the Outreach Committee, the Parish Life Committee, the ECW, the Altar Guild, and the Stewardship Campaign Committee.
- The Communications & Technology Committee oversees and recommends telecommunication and computer systems, and develops and maintains the parish website and other social networking.
-
The Finance Committee has charge of the general fiscal affairs of the parish, under the purview of the Vestry. The By-Laws of St. Luke's establish the Finance Committee. The Finance Committee consists of the Senior Warden, who shall be Chairperson, the Treasurer, and two Vestry members, and, if it be the will of the Vestry, two lay members of the parish.
-
The Property & Grounds Committee oversees activities relating to the care and maintenance of all church property, including building and equipment. They identify, develop, and implement church property projects and improvements, and plan for the optimum utilization of space.
-
The Stewardship Campaign Committee helps plan and implement the annual stewardship campaign, which supports the life and work of St. Luke's. More about the Stewardship Campaign and how you can help...
